LTECH-Lifting Technology has supplied a mini crane Maeda 285 CRM-E to The G.V. Plekhanov Saint Petersburg State Mining Institute and Technical University.

Such kind of machines are quite compact and enter the normal door hole; they have good maneuverability, but at the same time they have great capacity characteristics. The crane is equipped with a hybrid engine, thus it can work either outside or inside the buildings.

Such cranes have a wide range of usage. They are irreplaceable while restoration of buildings, building new real estates and blocks of flats and also for façade maintenance. The University will use the crane for their own needs.
Notice: The G.V. Plekhanov Saint Petersburg State Intitute and technical University is Russia's oldest higher education institute devoted to engineering.
The Institute was founded on October 21 OS/ November 1 NS 1773 by order of Empress Catherine II. It has become an implementation of ideas Peter I The Great and M. V. Lomonosov about preparing engineers for developing mining industry.
Located in Saint Petersburg, the institute is one of the oldest mining schools in Europe, and home to one of the world's finest and most exclusive collections of minerals, gem samples and mining equipment miniatures used for teaching purposes. Nowadays it has around 8,5 thousand of students and prepare bachelors and masters in 8 directions and specialists (engineers) on 6 faculties.
On 40 chairs and in branches of the Institute work over 120 Doctors of Science and Professors, more than 400 Doctors of Science and Associated Professors, more than 300 Academicians of Russian and foreign Academies of Science. There are a lot of science investigations about problems of development of raw material base of the country, rational nature management, creation progressive energy-conservative technologies on miner and refinery of raw materials.
Since 1869 the institute is the headquarter of the Russian Mineralogical Society.
